How we work
We operate under governed autonomy and build systems that embody it. The same four components hold on both sides: in our line and in your system.
What governed autonomy means
A way of working in which autonomous processes can act on their own, but authority is delegated in stages, every step passes a gate, leaves a record and can be reversed. Autonomy is not a switch, it is a ladder: you climb a rung as measured confidence grows, and step down one when something looks wrong.
Three stages
| Stage | What it does | Who decides |
|---|---|---|
| Shadow | The process runs and proposes; nothing is applied. Proposals are compared against real decisions. | A person |
| Assist | The process prepares the work and proposes it; it is applied once approved. | A person approves |
| Autopilot | Within defined thresholds the process applies on its own; anything outside goes to a person. | The process, within thresholds |
How we build
- 01Discovery — We define the need, the user and the outcome to measure. Output: scope, success criteria, first-release plan.
- 02Design — You see screens and flows in a working rehearsal first, and approve them before code.
- 03Build — Our senior engineers build together with AI agents; every change passes tests, a security scan and human approval.
- 04Release — Versioned, reversible releases. What changed is on record.
- 05Operation — While the product is live it is monitored and improved, on a steady release rhythm.
What you get
- Staged authority, yours — Autonomous processes in your system start in Shadow; you set and widen the thresholds.
- Defined gates — Which decisions are automatic and which need human approval is written down, and can be changed.
- Record — Every autonomous decision is traceable: who, what, why.
- Reversibility — Halt any process, roll back its result, step down its stage.
| How we build | What you get | |
|---|---|---|
| Staged authority | Production steps move through Shadow → Assist → Autopilot; authority widens with measured confidence. | Autonomous processes in your system come online through the same stages. You set the thresholds. |
| Gates | Every change passes tests, a security scan and a human approval gate. | Autonomous steps pass defined gates; critical decisions go to a person. |
| Record | Every decision is kept on an immutable record: who, what, why. | Every autonomous decision leaves a traceable, auditable trail. |
| Reversibility | Releases are versioned and reversible; autonomous steps can be halted. | Halt it, roll it back, step it down. You stay in control. |
What you see
- Regular demosWe open the working release together at planned intervals and take your feedback.
- Open recordYou see which decision was taken, when, and why.
- Approval pointsEvery step that needs your approval is known in advance.
- Control surfaceIn the delivered system, a management screen showing stages, thresholds and records of autonomous processes.
Frequently asked
Does AI do everything on its own?
No. The work is led by a team of senior engineers; AI agents make the team faster and every change passes human approval. In the systems we deliver, autonomous processes also act within defined stages and thresholds; anything out of scope or critical goes to a person.
Will AI replace people on our team?
That is not the aim. Autonomous processes are set up to take on repetitive, time-consuming work; decisions, customer relationships and accountability stay with your team. The system is rolled out together with your people; training and their feedback are part of the work.
Which AI models do you use?
Whichever fits the job; the architecture is not tied to one provider. Changing a model does not lock your system.
Where does our data live?
As a rule on your infrastructure, in accounts opened in your name. Your data is always yours; hosting location and KVKK/GDPR requirements are written down at the start of the project.
What happens when the project ends?
With a transfer of ownership, code and documentation become yours at the stage the contract defines and live in your repository. Keep running it with us under a maintenance plan, or carry on independently.
How long does a first release take?
It depends on scope; the discovery sprint gives you a written date and scope. Our aim is working software in weeks.
Have an idea, or a process that needs solving?
Tell us briefly. We'll get back to you and scope the discovery sprint together.
